1. DO THE ENVISOR PRODUCTS HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE WARRANTY OF THE EQUIPMENT THEY SCREEN?
We have not had any equipment manufacturer indicate the addition of Envisor screens will void their warranty. Additionally, we have worked closely with major suppliers to accommodate any concerns and gain their approvals.
2. IS AIRFLOW TO THE RTU IMPEDED BY THE ADDITION OF AN ENVISOR EQUIPMENT SCREEN?
No, our engineers design project-specific accommodations for any RTU performance features added to each piece of equipment.
3. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR POST MOUNTED SCREENING?
Envisor Post Mounted screening is designed to easily attach to existing roof posts. CityScapes scope of work does not include creating structural steel plan, providing posts, or installing posts on the roof. It is recommended to review post layout and roof load requirements with a structural engineer. Posts are required be 4x4 steel ¼ inch thickness. Round stock may be used if 3 inches in diameter and ¼ inch thick. Posts should be set no more than 8 feet on center, at or above the height of the tallest HVAC unit. For new builds opting for Envisor Post Mounted systems, post height should be chosen accommodate Panel height (35", 52" or 70"), minimum 6" at the bottom for airflow, and 4" for each frame. If additional coverage is required, panels can be stacked two layers for additional coverage. For a stacked 35”/52” we would recommend posts be at least 101" tall - 87" for the panels plus 8" for the frames and an additional 6" minimum at the screen bottom for proper airflow.
4. CAN I SCREEN MULTIPLE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT ON A ROOFTOP TOGETHER WITH UNIT ATTACHED SCREENING?
Yes, however, the RTUs must be positioned close enough to each other to allow for “nesting". To conceal/nest two more units within one united-attached screen system - all 5 of the following criteria must be met.
1) units must be able to be concealed with a unit-attached screen system
2) units must be of similar height (less 6" difference)
3) units must be in line (less than 12" offset)
4) units must be less than 96" apart
5) units must not be on vibration isolation springs /curbs
5. WHAT ARE THE PRODUCT’S WIND LOAD SPECIFICATIONS?
We have had a licensed engineer stamp product drawings to meet 180-mph wind load requirements with some product modifications. Generally, our engineers allow for an ultimate wind load of 115-mph. In high wind load areas, it is required for unit attached screens to be four sided. In Florida and Hawaii Beachfront projects within 1500 ft of the water must be Post-Mounted. To meet wind load requirements any metal panel may be chosen but the only approved ABS panel style is vertical rib.
1. WHAT IS THE WIDEST SCREEN WALL SIZE I CAN ORDER?
It depends on which infill material you chose. Our Metal Series can span as wide as 6′ between posts. Woodgrain textured PVC infill is available up to 8’ wide in increments of 6”. Please contact us directly at 1-877-727-3367 with any unique requests and our design staff can quickly evaluate to provide answers or suggestions; usually within 48 hours.
2. WHAT IS YOUR AVERAGE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE SIZE?
The most common size requested is an 11’ x 11’ x 7 or 8’ tall. This would hold most single dumpsters. For sites with two dumpsters, we see 11’ x 23’ x 8’ as the most specified.
3. HOW TALL CAN MY ENCLOSURE BE?
Our typical screen walls and gates are less than 10′ tall but we have produced several projects up to 14′ tall. If you have a project that requires a wall or gate taller than 14′ please contact our project managers to discuss a custom order. We love a challenge.
4. CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE SIZE OF THE ENCLOSURE?
Yes, the entire line of CityScapes products can be made to your specifications. We begin with a selection of standard options to choose from, but if your needs are custom, we will work with you to identify the best options for your specific project. Most of our products are able to be re-sized in the field, so in many cases we can supply a standard sized part that can be trimmed on site to fit your specific project needs…just another one of the great advantages of CityScapes screening solutions.
5. CAN I GET MATERIAL/COLOR SAMPLES?
Yes, we are happy to send you hand-size samples of any color and/or product material design you choose. Simply contact us, request a sample and let us know what information you want to receive and where we can send it. Our team is ready to assist you.
1. HOW WIDE CAN A TOUGHGATE BE?
Using a left or right hinge, the maximum free swinging gate width is 12′ wide. By using assist rollers on a smooth concrete surface under the gate swing path you can increase the maximum width of a single to 16′. Send us your specs and our project managers can help in assessing your needs. Contact us and provide your contact information, or call us at 1-877-727-3367, to get started on your project.
2. I HAVE EXISTING POSTS, CAN I REUSE THEM WITH YOUR TOUGHGATES?
Our unique gate hinge design works well with most existing steel poles for mounting. Simply provide the outside diameter pole dimension (inches), the on-center spacing (inches) between poles, and required door height and our project managers will guide you through the ordering process.
3. CAN YOU MATCH TOUGHGATE TO AN EXISTING STRUCTURE?
Our ToughGate materials are available in a variety of colors, We can also color match almost any shade requested. Contact us or call us at at 1-877-727-3367 with your color request and we can formulate a match.
4. CAN YOU ADD A LOGO OR CUSTOM DESIGN TO TOUGHGATE?
Absolutely! We can produce gates with your own designs. Contact our project managers to discuss your ideas.
We advise that you research local code in your area to ensure custom designs are permitted at your site. Many municipal codes consider brand logos additional signage. While your design may not trigger a sign violation, customization should be understood in your area to avoid any issues.
5. DO YOU OFFER LOCKABLE GATES?
Yes, we offer gate latches designed to lock with your own padlock.
1. WHAT MATERIAL IS NATURESCREEN MADE OF?

Yes. Roof configurations can be mixed and matched depending on the look you want, the level of shelter required, and site conditions.
8. IS THE SYSTEM CODE-FRIENDLY?
Yes. The system is Class A fire rated and Florida Product Approved, which helps streamline approvals in stricter jurisdictions.

The system is UV-stable and designed for low maintenance, which is exactly what you want in a hospitality setting where “constant upkeep” is not a business model.
10. CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE TO OUR BRAND AND ARCHITECTURE?
Absolutely. Sanctum is made to your specs, sized for your layout, and finished to match your aesthetic. The goal is to look like it was designed with the building, not added later because someone remembered guests need shade.

17. WHAT'S THE FASTEST WAY TO GET A QUOTE?
Send drawings if you have them. If not, send dimensions, desired capacity (two-chair cabanas vs larger setups), finish preferences, and any must-have add-ons. We’ll do the translation from “idea” to “spec-ready.”
