Frequently Asked Questions
1. WHAT IS SANCTUM™ CABANAS & HOSPITALITY?
Sanctum™ Cabanas & Hospitality is a design-forward outdoor shade and amenity system for resorts, hotels, multifamily, and rooftop environments. It’s built to look intentional, perform in real weather, and hold up in high-traffic spaces, with optional add-ons that make the entire area easier to operate and maintain.
2. WHAT TYPES OF CABANAS DO YOU OFFER?
Modern, architectural cabanas with a refined thatch look that feels elevated, not themed. Systems can be configured for everything from intimate two-chair setups to larger lounge and amenity zones.
3. WHAT IS THE SANCTUM™ THATCH ROOF COLLECTION?
It’s our premium thatch-look roof system inspired by reeds and coastal grasses. You get the warmth of natural thatch with the performance and longevity of modern materials, ideal for resorts, retreats, and refined outdoor architecture.
4. IS THIS REAL THATCH?
No. We use VIVA synthetic thatch for the natural look without the common issues of traditional thatch, like rot, pests, shedding, or mess.
5. WILL IT LOOK “TIKI” OR KITSCHY?
No. The design intent is modern and architectural. Think clean lines and upscale texture, not a tiki kit from a party store.
6. DOES IT PROVIDE REAL SHADE AND SHELTER?
Yes. These are engineered roof systems designed for true shade and shelter, not decorative props. The structure is aluminum, built to perform, and the roof options are designed for both aesthetics and coverage.
7. ARE THERE DIFFERENT ROOF CONFIGURATIONS?
Yes. Roof configurations can be mixed and matched depending on the look you want, the level of shelter required, and site conditions.
8. IS THE SYSTEM CODE-FRIENDLY?
Yes. The system is Class A fire rated and Florida Product Approved, which helps streamline approvals in stricter jurisdictions.
9. WHAT ABOUT UV EXPOSURE AND LONG TERM MAINTENENCE?
The system is UV-stable and designed for low maintenance, which is exactly what you want in a hospitality setting where “constant upkeep” is not a business model.
10. CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE TO OUR BRAND AND ARCHITECTURE?
Absolutely. Sanctum is made to your specs, sized for your layout, and finished to match your aesthetic. The goal is to look like it was designed with the building, not added later because someone remembered guests need shade.
11. WHAT ACCESSORIES AND ADD-ONS ARE AVAILABLE?
Accessories are optional add-ons that help keep spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready, including:
• Towel return stations
• Trash and recycling receptacles
• Custom planters
• NatureScreen® trellises and planters
• Lighting and fan integration support
• Outdoor shower solutions
12. CAN ACCESSORIES MATCH THE CABANA?
Yes. Add-ons can be designed to match the cabana finishes and overall architectural language so the space stays cohesive.
13. WHAT PROJECT TYPES ARE THE BEST FIT FOR A SANCTUM™?
Resorts and hotels, rooftop lounges, multifamily pool decks, private clubs, and any outdoor hospitality environment where durability, aesthetics, and guest experience all matter.
14. DO YOU SUPPORT ARCHITECTS DURING DESIGN AND DOCUMENTATION?
Yes. We work with architects and project teams to align aesthetic intent, performance requirements, and integration details, and to help move projects smoothly from concept to install.
15. WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM US TO GET STARTED?
Any of the following helps:
• Site plan or layout
• Target quantities and sizes
• Finish direction (or brand standards)
• Inspiration images
• Any code requirements or jurisdiction notes
Early in design? No problem. We can help you define the right configuration before everything is locked.
16. HOW IS PRICING DETERMINED?
Pricing is based on configuration, size, material and finish selections, roof option, add-ons, and quantities. Share your scope, and we’ll recommend the best-fit solution and provide a quote.
17. WHAT'S THE FASTEST WAY TO GET A QUOTE?
Send drawings if you have them. If not, send dimensions, desired capacity (two-chair cabanas vs larger setups), finish preferences, and any must-have add-ons. We’ll do the translation from “idea” to “spec-ready.”
